The personal lives of the players has always been a part of football. Marriages, divorces, late night drinking sessions, etc. Nowadays they're just a lot more professional so there's less to hear about in the main.

I don't care about their personal lives so long as they aren't doing a "Mason Greenwood", I'll include DCL in that by the way. I don't care in the slightest what he wears when he's not playing football, none of my business, it's what they do on the pitch that matters. All that said though it's unreasonable to expect that their personal lives don't affect what goes on on the pitch, it's not an excuse it's just a realistic part of being a human being. The club just need to assess and manage it with them.

 

Still a lot of if's and buts. I'd have prefered to keep him as he looks a good prospect but let's not get too excited over a good showing in the Dutch league and a goal against a poor defence in a pre-season friendly. I used to have high hopes for the guy below (who did score a Champions League Hat-trick for us if i recall correctly) but flashes of ability just don't cut it:

TransferMarkt? The screenshot Magdad put up is giving the figures in euros. So that would work out at slightly under £20m for the one and slightly under £35m for the other.

 

They seem to just replace £’s for €’s on that site

It was obviously a PSR work around between both clubs, offload the ****e for Inflated prices, anyone thinking they'd then sell one of their better players to us was living in a dream land.
