Howe will play his mates as usual... this isn't even a Howe thing it's what they all do from Sunday league to the champions league. I also think they like over complicate things upto and including pre determined substitutions designed to make them look and feel clever.
The process is very simple. 1. A player they like leaves the club and they'll say they're a mercenary and they should care about the club. 2. A player they want out decides to stay and fight for his place and they'll say they're not putting the club first. Essentially players can't win when it comes to the fans.
Think we should probably wait until Brighton play someone a bit more sensible than Kashima Antlers before we go overboard on selling Minteh. Personally agree that Minteh is better than Miggy and Murphy but if we can't shift those two and had to sell I'd rather Yakuba was sold than say Gordon or Bruno.

We get more info on PSR, sporting directors, legal challenges and personal problems than we get anything on actual football. It’s become a ****ing circus.
I just think there’s a talent a hell of a player in Minteh. I know we had to sell which is terribly unfortunate.
Way I look at it is if we’d bought a speed demon from Celtic who we flogged having never kicked a ball nobody would give a ****. But because feyenoord sounds more exotic everyone’s moaning despite them being about as **** as Celtic and the league being possibly as bad as the SPL. The kid may or may not make it. The gamble is no longer ours and for the money involved it was worth it. Added to this, we’ve not sold a single player at £30m or over that’s set the world alight
Some are just plodders who are clinging onto their best payday ever though mate. Christ even Fraser and Hayden are back at the club stinking it out. You said it yourself we can’t sell them because no one wants them. And even if they did they are in a salary given to them by Ashley when they’re not PL standard. Miggy won’t want to leave. Wilson is being paid to occupy the medical bench while he gets his teeth whitened. I love Trips but it does look like his legs are gone but maybe he was just having a lot of personal issues and if that settles maybe he will be good for 2 more years. I am trying to remain positive but we are now 3 years into this and we need to start being strong, get that winning mindset and tell some players it’s time. Nothing wrong with that.
T The issue here is we would never buy anyone from Celtic for anything because most of their players are **** with no potential. We signed this kid for 7m with bags of potential and he went and delivered albeit in a lower league. He then goes and scores a class goal for BHA in I believe his first run out.
