Perhaps the people liking it appreciate the fact that he always tries his best which whilst that should be an expected minimum isn’t in fact the case with a significant number of footballers. And perhaps those people telling others ‘to give themselves a shake up’ may wish to consider how condescending that comment is.
I’m just saying he has tried his best but that’s not good enough. Giving yourself a shake up is a jest comment and not abusive. Seeing something for what it is. He’s a nice man. Smiles a lot. Runs around a lot. Quality. None existent. Literally he created 1 goal and scored 3 last season. Even Longstaff did more and he gets slated.
Doesn’t make much sense but I’m assuming you mean when Miggy skinned himself twice or sometimes three times before losing the ball or crossing it to N o Wan.
Thing with Miggy is in the Howe system that is 100% he’s actually very effective. Don’t get me wrong he’s still one footed, **** at crossing and **** at finishing but is very good at winning and intercepting the ball. Very good at being an outlet and very good engine. The fact we’re slagging him kind of shows how the clubs improving because he’s far and away miles better than some of the **** that’s played for us in that position
Agree. Saying he crap is probably unfair (my comment). So I take that back. Poor is probably the right word and yes it’s because we have kicked on now. He was one of our better players. But it also shows how expectations had been lowered so far by Ashley that we accepted poor quality players. I don’t think he has improved since he arrived either.
I can agree with that, I’d also say the rot had started to set in pre Ashley though. Some of the choices of Hall and Shepherd in the latter days were nuts. To the point that I’d say neither had a ****ing clue about football and the decisions they got right were more through good luck than good judgement.
Its not a matter of expectations being lowered at all. It’s not a question of accepting poor players. It’s simply acknowledging that he always tried his best. I would guess that you would not find one post from those liking the earlier post saying Miggy should be first choice RW next season which then would suggest your comments are way off mark.
Yes true. They where doing it as if they where playing football manager. I love the fact the club are in good hands now with professionals at the top. Im fully expecting Howe to smash it this season mind. A bit of pressure will probably do him good. And without Europe I genuinely think we will be top 6. Get that RW and CB positions nailed with two good players and we will be rocking next season. I have a good feeling about it.
Come on man. It’s not unreasonable to say he is poor. And it isn’t unreasonable to say that all our expectations under Ashley were significantly lower than they are now. It’s just natural that we have had so much rubbish for years under previous owners that we had become used to it. Things are different now and to be a top club the mentality of people needs to change to reflect that. Make what you will of this comment but I like Miggy. I like someone who gives his best. But when success depends on quality and not quantity then it becomes apparent that change has to happen.
I think there is an extremely high chance that one will start. In fact I’m almost certain that one of them will. And the other will come on for the other.
Not keen on him tbh, lad at work is a Chelsea fan and he didnt rate him at all. Say's the only finished where they did because of Palmer's goals and some very lucky performances.
It's easy to run a lot during a game how about some effort in training to have an actual usable right foot.
Apparently, according to reports from Italy, we've just put in an offer for Nicolas Gonzalez of Fiorentina.
They all rinsed Joelinton and other players and now want to act like Mother Therasa. Morning everyone let's hope for some news this fine Wednesday.
When you say all ....? Also, don't play the holier than thou card, given the amount of time you've spent ripping into Longstaff And it's Theresa
