Bit of a niche market on this board, I know, but **** me these guys can play! Bought the Romantic Warrior album back in 1976 and was transfixed. Watching them jam this track 40 years or so later is just amazing!
That's a bit plinky plonky for my mood at the moment but catch me on the right day and I get it ....NICE
This group is the half-time entertainment for the K-League All Stars friendly. Sadly not a Haddaway cover. It has 798m views on Youtube. Pulp Fiction seems like a fairly grim reference for a kids video, but it worked, apparently.
Anyone else going to see Alice Cooper at the Hammersmith Odeon? Mrs B and I are going on the Sunday...standing at the back. It's definitely a 'last chance to see' and the Meffs are playing support, so at £50, it seemed like a good idea. I hope he's more Iggy and less Debbie Harry from last summer...or the last B52s tour.
I think I saw one of Alice cooper's uk 1st concerts , Roxy Music supported and got booed off stage, the show included a large balloon filled with maggots (rice ) Months later schools out was released and the rest is history
I as too young to see him then, but did in the 80's. School's Out was a big hit with me and I'm not passing up opportunities to see any artist who I like and might not get an opportunity to see again...barring the Stones. I don't know why, but I've never had any desire to see them live, despite being a fan and The Who - the remaining members are pricks.
The last original member of the Four Tops has passed on RIP Abdul "Duke" Fakir , thank you for the great music
He was still in the band when I saw them about 10 years ago. He was clearly having a ball, too. A fabulous, fabulous band.
Hello all . I am looking for someone to help me by finding out the name of a group / song please . one person has come up with an Aerosmith track ( The Farm ) another posted a Rainbow track ( Kill the king ) Both from my home teams posters ( Saints ) The song is Rock / Pop , I THINK it was late 80’s - 90’s This is the lyric - It's not a place you can get to by a boat or a train. It'sfar, far away. Behind the moon, beyond the rain... Then Judie Garland goes into Over the Rainbow go to approx 26 seconds . I know the song exists , but I’m going crazy looking forit
John Mayall died on Monday age 90, the man had such an influence on the British blues scene and so many ex band members went on to form their own bands
It’s not that one sorry . the one I have heard has that actual clip with Judy garland speaking those words .
RIP! indeed. A legend among legends. In fact, it's difficult to think of a more influential musician. Great age though
If you believed Rolling Stone or the Grauniad at the time, 25 years ago today Woodstock 99 was going perfectly well until this happened...
