I find Wrexham irritating now. Not in a jealousy way. I think it's that show on Disney that's done it. Seen an article saying Sunderland til I die 3 was pretty much "meh", a few months ago because unreal staged stuff like Welcome to Wrexham is the way forward. Obviously they still had to win games, but when you have strikers on reportedly 5k a week in the national leauge, pretty much speaks for its self.
I get what you're saying. Even I have gotten fed up of all the hype and the media love fest and ai haven't bothered with any of the football from the US this summer. I have to accept that the resultant US interest in Wrexham is what gives the club the ability to pay high wages and stay within the EFL's FFP rules. There are no FFP rules in the National League but Wrexham were just the latest club to join the feasting table. In the 22-23 promotion season Notts County were paying McGoldrick £5,400 per week and the 21-22 season (before the potential Wrexham take over was even announced) Stockport were paying Madden £3,500 per week. This all flew under the radar of criticism and that's fine with me, after all, Wrexham were the ones courting publicity, plus it was worth it just to end the 15 years of non-league exile! Back in the day Wrexham got hate for being Welsh and getting an opportunity to play in Europe via the Welsh Cup. Now we get it over the links to Hollywood and the associated riches, though the club don't get paid a penny from Welcome to Wrexham - the benefit is from US fans payingcto stream matches, buying club memberships and merchandise.
Has anyone bought one of the new Hummel Polo shirts yet and if so could you please share your thoughts on the quality/fit £50 is quite expensive for a Polo shirt but they look smart and it's my birthday soon and family never know what to buy me.
I can’t decide if that’s really nice or ****ing awful bulk of people I work with are from Yorkshire and it’s gone down a storm with most of them like
please log in to view this image Hummel don’t really do bad kits do they. Werder Bremens new home top.
I've got a couple of training tops mate and there brilliant quality and I'm a medium and they fit fine not to tight or too baggy just right imo.
I love buying random teams tops, Ajax away ones are always amazing. They probably have the best away tops in World football for a few decades now. Does anybody else have any random teams tops ?
Yes, mate. I've been collecting them for a while. I've got around 90 shirts at the last count. Got some proper random teams- Naga Emas Asri (Indonesia), Zamalek (Egypt), Hearts of Oak (Ghana), Stromness Athletic (Orkney).
I used to collect loads as a kid, started buying the odd old safc ones online that I never wear but I can’t stop myself, usually buy the local teams shirts when I go away if I get chance so got Sparta Prague, Cracovia, dusseldorf and Porto shirts, always liked Ajax kits but not been to Amsterdam yet
