I managed to buy tickets OK but had a different problem. I chose the digital tickets option as I always do. But when I got the email with the tickets it says they MUST be printed out, and cannot be scanned digitally, even though they have QR codes and buttons to add them to Google or Android Pay. Seems contradictory so I'm going to ring them tomorrow to double check. Printing and carrying paper around in 2024 seems so backwards and it's a faff I can do without.

They’re obviously having some teething problems with the new ticketing system, which hopefully they’ll resolve, but I found the Tigers+ site was garbage last season as well. Every time I logged on, it told me my password was wrong and I had to reset it.

Yes, it’s £3 more, which they should clearly stop charging while the ticketing system isn’t working properly.

They are obviously having major problems with the new system

Aren't they actually getting rid of member cards and pushing everybody to use
mobile phones this season as well ?

Not sure. They've mentioned plenty of times over the years that scanning your membership on a phone will soon be possible but I've not heard anything recent about it being imminent.

That's all well and good but it leaves the Mrs without the phone when I'm out on a Saturday afternoon:emoticon-0103-cool:

You can already get in by scanning a photo of your membership card.

Yeah, I suppose that would work since it has a barcode. Won't be as reliable as using the NFC reader though. (Just like how people with matchday tickets don't get in as quickly as members with cards, because the matchday tickets aren't NFC).

That annoyed me to no end. Was sick of it telling me my password was wrong on PC. So I then had to sign in on my phone with the same password to then eventually be able to sign in on my computer

We seem to continually have problems with ticketing and other systems. Been going on even for decades now!! Why? Surely can't be that difficult to sort. Just us or everyone else the same

To be fair to the club the Crowdstrike issue affected ticketmaster globally which when you’re launching a new system isn’t ideal.

They’ve overhauled their whole system internally from what I gather and generally it’s always a bit of a ball ache at first. This is including the point of sale hardware connected to it. It’s not an easy feat. I’d say they’re doing pretty well all things considered as when I went to ticket office to pick up my tickets for the friendlies they seemed pretty busy but on the ball.

That's good. Hopefully things now work well and our systems stay settled for some time to come. It just seems to be near constant change and issues, be it with ticketing, tv re-incarnations, website, whatever.

Think with a new owner we were bound to have a few things overhauled. They’ve got 2 decent friendlies to iron out the matchday kinks.

They were supposedly going to introduce a mobile wallet season pass but I think that’s been benched for now. Idea being you could have a physical or mobile one

I'm sure you used to be able to buy a ticket for friendlies or cup games and load
it onto your season card or did I imagine that ?
