Got to admit, once she moved to Jesus mode, with boiling water in the early hours of the morning, she would have made me suspicious. Her daughter confirmed she was a paranoid-schizophrenic, so even though they were cops, only she knew what her mind was telling her. Bullet shot to the head bad move, but that's how these cops are trained...trouble is you never know, do you wait until your face is melting...hmm difficult one. In Britain it wouldn't happen, you'd have a stun gun at best to protect you...what makes this worse is she's a frail old lady who happens to black and it's not a good look but...
she 30 odd lol. But all she did was say in jesus i rebuke you (i could't tell but apparantly cause he was laughing at her for wanting to take the kettle off)
Lol Ffs need to get my eyes checked, she looked about 70 to me. I was more looking at her slight size in the dressing gown tbph. Still wouldn't have trusted her, something don't feel right...but we'll never know... If you say to someone I rebuke you in the name of Jesus....you are referring to them as the devil and this is a paranoid-schizophrenic with a pot of boiling water. https://www.illinoistimes.com/news-...inue-following-death-of-sonya-massey-18801403 Less than a month ago, Sonya Massey was acting "extremely paranoid" and had voiced concerns for months "about being killed by the police," her cousin, Sontae Massey, told Illinois Times. Sontae Massey said July 11 that he is not sure why his 36-year-old cousin was exhibiting such anxiety. But Sontae Massey, 53, a manager for the Springfield Housing Authority, said it was obvious his cousin was upset when they talked face-to-face about two weeks before her death on July 6. "I've known Sonya since I was a kid," Sontae Massey said. "She was very depressed about something. I had never seen her like that."
haha to be fair she does look real old. I didn't know that until i read the article. Guess we will have to agree to disagree. I didn't see where it said she was a paranoid schitzo. She called them cause she thought she was robbed and it was the copper who told her to move the kettle off boiling. I suppose we'll never know what happens to U.S. cops without being in the front line. Just seemed a bit excessive to me considering how far away she was and her just moving it off because she was told to even if she did attempt to exorcise him lol
I should add to this, that it should have been handled differently, in that I agree. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. The cop should have told her to stay seated and asked his colleague to take the boiling water off the stove. In the UK this wouldn't have happened, because our cops don't carry guns in those type of call outs, this is the risk you run in America - Innocent people are going to get killed at the hands of them and cops are always jittery because of the risk to them. But I still can't get out my head the question, why did someone paranoid about cops killing her, call them out, I know the reason given but why not shout for a neighbour or family member to come help her if you were that distrubed by their mere presence.
I read about the paranoid bit in the Guardian...I'll try and find it again, then edit this post. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/article/2024/jul/22/sonya-massey-illinois-shooting-video
Just had a read about the sonya case. Hard to make a judgement call without seeing video footage but i've seen too many vids of coppers just executing people over there (obviously, it might be a handful but they seem to get away with it a lot)
I'll post it here as well, under the first picture, third paragraph down, it won't let me copy and paste it... https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/article/2024/jul/22/sonya-massey-illinois-shooting-video
oh i'm so dumb. Just realised the sonya case is the one i posted about. I thought it was a separate case
A soldier in uniform was stabbed up tonight in Gillingham, works at the local barracks, the attacker pulled up on a moped and set about him. No idea if the attacker at this moment is known to the victim or whether this is just a random attack. I read it in a local rag, but this national tabloid has some of the story... https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/breaking-soldier-fighting-life-following-33300383 please log in to view this image
