United apparently trying to beat Bayern and RB Leipzig to the signing of Dutch wonder kid Xavi Simons ... looked very useful at the Euros tbf..
How would you know? - you picked the then most successful club in the country to support ... from London... But facts are facts - the old Football League Division One is now known as The Championship... A new Elite league came into being over 30 years ago and, despite having chucked billions at it, Liverpool FC have only managed to win* it the once ... and after Leicester City had done it on a comparative shoestring ... Something I'll be happy to keep reminding the "Where's the Wirral?" brigade about at every available opportunity... Obviously doesn't bother them mind
This really is one of the deadest windows so far, man. Got Fosse lecturing us about EFL/ Prem history to make it worse. Don't think anyone's made a signing yet where it feels like it could be a game changer for them.
The euros have stalled things somewhat. I dont see us doing much this window anyway, it would be prudent/FSG to see what the new manager can do with the existing squad before adding or selling anyone. We should be after a defender but apparently sepp van den berg has impressed in pre season so far. Yeh cant see us doing anything tbh
We need a new ST and/ or new RW. Probably a DM too unless the new kid, Gray, jumps in straight away. Would love us to go for Eze but reckon he'll go Man City or somewhere else.
Transfer windows must be one of the worst things about football these days. Absolute ****s everywhere fapping away over players they're never heard of and calling them brilliant based on football manager or twitter stats. ****ing **** ****s
Eze would be a good buy for anyone now. And regarding man city. Signing for them now would be a risk for any players considering they could possibly be playing brbs team soon
cracking young prospect when he signed for Everton. But Nige Martyn/Tim Howard we’re in his way. Spent his time with us out on loan sadly.
We're on the cusp of one that could be good in principle, but I don't think we'll get over the line... we've agreed a fee (reportedly close to Euros 30 million) with Juve for a young Argentinian winger they had out on loan last season ... but he wants to go to Roma and Dybala is in his ear ... Juve are not keen to let him go there ... shame for us cause he seems to have potential... and Messi has been singing his praises ... Now... about the history of the Premier League ...
