Looks like a potentially good WB to me, struggling to see him as a RB I don't think he's got the defensive capabilities. Could make a good winger, he's looked dangerous going forward. I'd say attacking with minor defensive duties suits him better than the other way around.

His quotes were telling. Seemed as if he was expecting a medical and was looking forward to joining only for the club to disctance themselves. Whether they're doing that to make it clear to fans there's a thorough process of looking at all options rather than it looking like we only have one option I am not sure. They may well have better options with more championship experience and waiting to see if any of those develop first.
his agent has form of doing this to push the moves his client wants too. But Mendy wanting the move and Caen needing to sell surely can only be a positive for us
