Some fancies at Newton Abbot today:. Too hot to go out here in Berlin today (34 degrees) so I'll be staying in watching sport :)

2.05 Golden Path 5/6 (Hills) - NAP. Looked like a juvenile filly with a future when readily opening her account over course and distance last month.
2.35 Kintaro 9/1 (Hills) - catches the eye with first time blinkers applied on handicap debut. Finished 2nd to a Nicholls hotpot last time with a couple of subsequent winners behind.
3.05 Sassified 15/2 (Hills) - has a 50% strike rate in 4 visits to the course and had a nice pipe-opener at Fontwell last time.
3.35 Saint Bibiana 10/3 (Hills) - comes here on a real roll and a 4lb rise for her latest victory might not stop her
4.10 Baltic Voyage 5/1 (Hills) - this son of Frankel might not be too badly treated with an opening mark of 91.
4.45 Dripsey Moon 9/4 (Hills) - finished a really good 2nd to Riskintheground (good 5th in the Summer Plate yesterday) on chase debut
5.20 Limerick Leader 7/4 (Hills) - being backed this morning so let's hope the change of yard and wind surgery will do the trick

In the (15:15) at the Curragh, a Group-2, Class-1, Stakes over 7f on good ground, the Aidan O'Brien//Ryan Moore runner, Mountain Bear, will probably go off favourite, but will take a chance with the Lope De Vega gelding, Poet Master, in this event. Sam James rides for the Karl Burke yard.

9/2 (Wm.Hill/Unibet/BetVictor) best price early-doors, on the ATR site.

Won very easily by 3-3/4L at 7/2 SP. Cool ride by the talented Sam James. Nice win for the Karl Burke yard and connections of the winner. Mountain Bear was a huge disappointment, and finished stone-last, I believe.
