Enjoyed the video, from the bits and pieces he is wanting the team to move in a unit up and down the pitch, very compact and when they loose the ball the have to press hard to get it back and passing the ball quickly. Very hands one.
Tbf le bris said himself he won’t use a back three. He apparently made it very clear to the press that he only used a back 3 at lorient as a last resort and that he won’t play that type of football at Sunderland
It looked from the videos he had 2 groups doing the same drills so would not have had enough players to do 11 v11
Such a shame we didn't have a version of the video with Tony Mowbray ... ... now that would've been hilarious
Yes it would be a revelation. The bemused looks, on the faces of the young foreign lads, would be summat like this ...
.. Mowbray is a very good coach and the players, foreign and British, in the main loved him. I’m saying that as someone who thought it was time for him to go when he did.
I'm just joking mate, I thought he did a great job and I enjoyed his time here ... ... it was just the way he kept saying he couldn't communicate with the players that grated a bit. It's part of the modern game to find ways to communicate and he didn't relish it.

He certainly is. Mentioned it before but a load of us met him on the train to and from Norwich a couple of seasons ago. What a lovely bloke.
Doesn't suprise me at all. I actually met him in Yarm in a Coffee shop when he was managing Blackburn. After Cattermole i never expected another smoggie to be loved by a Sunderland fan again.
