Wilson out lewin in is a distinct possibility..... howe wants him and he's going to put his foot down. I'm not against it.. I think Lewin is ideal to back up isak..and for tactical use. He has something we simply don't have.
I'm not so sure.... I think Lewin would score more goals here. Goal records ok but let's not forget Gordon had about 1 goal in a season before he came.
It's all immaterial if they don't sign him of course, but if he's woods replacement or even Wilsons I'm quietly confident he'll do well at Newcastle.
The best use Wilson can be to the squad is carrying the kit bags - but it looks like he's done his back doing that. Get rid.

So based on piecing together various media reports: West Ham agreed a deal to take Todibo on loan. Agreed between the clubs and all virtually signed & sealed with the player. Newcastle then enquire last minute and Todibo suddenly decides to reject West Ham move. His club were angry with him for not following through on the deal, but are now negotiating with NUFC instead. So this one genuinely sounds quite promising. EDIT: although also now seeing reports that Juventus are after him too.

Yeah he looks strong and reasonably quick, but also comfortable on the ball and with bringing it out of defence - which is a big plus for trying to break teams down and create space in attack.
This is something I've been wanting to see.... not saying they don't need big money players too, but this has been missing. Mitchell at work.
Looks like he's got some mobility amd skills for a big lad too. Let's hope he does well and lives up to his potential... I'm delighted with this kind of signing.... this is better than signing well known plodders.
