Trump officially handed over the reins of his businesses to his two sons but he definitely uses his position to funnel money to "Trump Inc", by making sure visiting foreign dignitaries use his hotels (and pay for it obviously) for example. Trump also charges the US tax-payer when he and US government officials travels around the country and use his hotels. You talk about the Biden "crime family" but he doesn't have members of his family in government. How much did Kushner make from the Saudis? And his daughter profited big time in China. I admire that you have served your country, Roger, but still, people on here whingeing about the state of the UK at the moment isn't going to solve anything, is it? I have to add that the huge difference between Trump and Biden, and even Blair, is that Trump is a businessman who has become a Politician. The Deep State hate him because he's not a Politician, he doesn't do what they tell him to do. The reason that people vote for Trump is the same reason Italians voted for Meloni, French voted for Le Pen, Dutch voted for Gilders and the Germans are voting for the AFD. It is also why Reform got so many votes in the General Election. These parties and candidates aren't right wing, they're nationalists. They put their own countrymen and women first. The other side is the globalists who care more about the world than they do about their own citizens. They accept migration even though it is causing huge divisions within countries They pray at the altar of net zero even though it causes hardship for their own citizens. They support wars on foreign soil even though the money could be better used at home. The factory worker in Wigan just wants to feed his family. Labour, Tories, Lib Dems and Greens don't give a **** about him. He listens to Reform and they sound like they want to help him. It is the same with all the others I noted above. If you think we should give more money to Ukraine, Palestine should be free, there is a climate emergency or mass immigration is good for the country then you're lucky and you don't have a ****ing clue about the ordinary folk in your country.
