I wouldn’t say no to that. But (and you won’t believe this) I actually think Howe could win something this year. Think about it. Players all coming back. Buy a RW and another CB and the are basically top 4 material. Added the extra squad depth. He should stay.

I think that PIF are putting in place the real professionals and that the soft touch people are gone. Eddie knows this but can still do a job and has grown in my opinion with what he has done. He is basically proving that he isn’t a yes man which is actually exactly what I want from the manager. I think he’s shown great character saying what he has. Albeit he’s probably got the England job nailed if it goes south.
