Just a friendly and things have dropped a bit but Hjelde looks a lot more comfortable at CB than at LB
Only saw some of the game but enjoyed it, we def seem to pass it with more pace now which is great Thought hjelde looked good when he came on, capable of passing out from the back at pace, always been a fan of his since watching him on loan at ross county so hopefully he kicks on Jewi came on at LB, showed some nice positional play tbh so wonder if theyll try n turn him into one - likely was just playing there to get mins
Enjoyed that. Can see the progression from last weekend already, especially with the patterns of possession and the out of possession shape. Rigg and Mayenda my particular stand outs, thought Hjelde looked good when he came on also.
I was wondering who that was at LB, looked decent but couldn’t figure out who it was didn’t have any sound.
We don’t ponder on the ball as much which is good to see, interested to see how we go when le bris has had even more time to put his stamp on things
Yeah he showed glimpses, overlapped mundle a few times and dropped into shape quickly Got caught once on the ball but i thought he did pretty well
another good kick-a-bout for the lads and forest put plenty of effort in to give the lads a good test. the 'game plan' seemed more to try and soak up some pressure rather than trying to take any control in the game, or maybe that is just how the game panned out...in that heat every one of them did well.
