It looks like Raphinha will be joining Villa when Diaby goes to Saudi. Villa have made a lot of signings this window.
They have made some very interesting signings that’s for sure. I know it’s early days but it is a little worrying how slow we are being when there is only 4 weeks to go till the first game.
I put this on the wrong forum. A list of everyone’s transfers with updates. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/premier-league/transfers/wettbewerb/GB1
That would have been an exciting signing for us to make. It's probably wage demands or lack of CL that stopped us moving for him. I remain content to wait and see who we end up signing by transfer window end before getting too worried... Though I agree, it would obviously be ideal to get reinforcements in sooner rather than later.
They're not really,Villa still owe half the transfer fee for Diaby and can't buy Raphinha till they sell him, house of cards imho.
Tottenham are aiming to beat Fulham to the signature of Manchester United's 27-year-old Scotland midfielder Scott McTominay. (Sun) Brentford are expected to reduce their asking price to less than £50m for 28-year-old England forward Ivan Toney because of a lack of interest from rival clubs. (Sun) A cheeky £25m bid
I agree. Lack of champions league football I would think. I am sure whoever we sign they will be good enough. Need to get them in sooner rather than later mind.
If Newcastle bought these players they would be classed as plodders and bargain basement buys,Villa buy them and they're classed as leaving Newcastle for dust
I think some of their signings are good. Barkley I would have gladly taken. I think what he means is that they are making headways in the transfer market. We have thus far had a summer of upheavals behind the scenes so this will impact on transfers etc. It should be interesting this next couple of weeks. Apparently two PL teams are in for mctominay. West Ham are one. I hope we are not the other.
I think I'm just not bitter towards them.. I actually was for a time, but then I realised we'd laugh at them if we relegated them .... same with Everton. People really need to let it go imo.
Newcastle will sign players it's just a matter for time.... I'd rather they waited until the last minute if it meant getting the right player and I'd actually rather they didn't bother unless it was.
