I'll wait until the full thing is uploaded before I watch it again, but I didn't really pick up overt annoyance though, perhaps at the line of questioning if anything.

How good do you have to be to reach the quarter finals of the conference league? Or beat the likes of Sevilla and Dynamo Kiev in a European competition?

They might not be Man City or PSG, but they're not exactly soft competition either and the fact that they're in the second qualifying round says more about Turkey's coefficients than it does about the club itself. It probably has underperformed domestically, that's a fair comment, but it's not like we were dicked by a fourth division team or even a team from Moldova or Lithuania.

Never nice to lose a game, but I'm not going to lose any sleep about a loss to a famous club - and excellent team - like Fenerbahce in our first pre-season friendly of the year.

 

Tim’s football is bonkers…but I quite like that. The rest of the championship have no idea what’s going to be unleashed. It could be kamikaze or he might turn us into something really memorable.

When you strip away all the hyperbole around systems, that's the same as last season.

 

I also think we will be to the Championship what Georgia and Austria were to the Euros - a great watch but ultimately unsuccessful.

I think the keeper playing high up under Walter is going to be the new equivalent of the keeper playing risky, press-baiting passes to Seri under Rosenior. I'm happy to get behind it as part of a clear strategy, but I think many at home games will struggle to.

 

Pandur will almost certainly get the Jak treatment at some point.
