British politics in a right state. Stormont doesn't sit, changes in Holyrood and the Senedd. Self promotion, corruption and incompetence wherever you look.
    Westminster no better.

Careful, the politics police might shut this down of we go to far.

    Stormont does sit.
Stormont is sitting now but it won’t be long before the unionists find a teeny weeny little thing they don’t like as an excuse to withdraw.
As long as it doesn’t affect their salaries!

Out of the house before 6 this morning to get the tractor and pick up the knocker. Had to pull over at one point so the queue of traffic built up behind me could get past.

First stretch done. Off to do a longer stretch in a different field now.
Daughter's boyfriend has some spare time which helps. Daughter just turned up with sausage and bacon baps for breakfast.

A bit warm, but it's dry.

I'm sure the repetition takes the shine away but that just looks like so much fun!
Thanks for sharing, it makes a lot more sense now I can see the machine.

It's OK when your working with someone. It's OK for a day, but you wouldn't want to be doing it every day of the week.

And two people do it in less than half the time as you're not jumping on and off the tractor.

It was £100 +vat for the knocker for the day. It's a £7.5k piece of kit.

Half way through the 105m stretch (3 strainers, 24 posts).

A paddock to repair and we're done for today. Stock netting tomorrow.

Got the little toy out for half hour. Probably as much fun as the big toy. Needed to wrap up the electric fencing where the stock netting is going. All the posts in the long run.
Back to post knocking yo fix the pony paddock. shortly.

Be careful he doesn't run a couple of volts through it just to liven it up for him.

The electric fencing we run tops 7000 volts. Just like static electricity. Gives the sheep (or you) a bit of a jolt, but no danger or harm.

Very low once you've bought and paid for the energiser. Unless you've got a ranch to fence in, probably less than a tenner a year.
