The possessions stats were a positive, and that we retained the balance of possession despite trying to get it forward quicker. I'm not sure how much more effective that possession was though, apart from being on the edge of their 3rd a bit more as opposed to on the edge of our own.
Time will tell, but we need some sort of defensive shape as well. I think a more pragmatic approach in that game avoids the dicking we got. That's despite the squad shortcomings which are getting increasingly evident.
