Enjoyable half. Think it showed we need additions, but if we get those additions right, we could be in for an exciting season
Really positive 1st half, dominated for large spells against a better team that are far more up to speed than us.
I thought we played some good stuff, we were the better side overall, just the difference is they have forwards that can score and as yet we don't.
I might/will get slated for this but since Tim was linked and people spoke about his style and what he wants his centre backs to do. Does anyone else worry about jones ?
We have another 4 friendliez where our fitness will get better and better And its certainly nowhere near as hot as this
Really soft defending, especially for first goal. Rest of the play encouraging but we look pretty powderpuff in attack. Unsurprising as we don’t have any strikers - or attackers other than Longman.
Jones should be fine. It's Macca thats struggling. Jacob too. They should add an experienced head in there to help
They sat back and we created nowt. 2 chances 2 goals. I'm not seeing us as the better team for 40 mins as we've barely.laid a glove on them . They are just playing the Mourinho way and we're looking naive.

They didn't have to get out of 2nd gear. Maybe 1st even. We did ok at times I guess but we're absolutely miles off being a serious championship side. Besides Omur I don't see who we've got left that is good enough (for Acuns aspirations). Tactics look promising though. Keeper and CBs not standing on the ball for an eternity. Not having Seri drop deep to take the ball off the back line. More positive approach. Far better movement. Etc. We just need near enough a full new team. That's all!
