SafiPort, Turkey's biggest shipping and yacht firm, have become one of City's primary sponsors.

Very lucrative apparently and their name will be on our shirts against Feberbahce.

    More details to follow.

McVities were the back of shirt sponsor last season, and was on the back of the shirt against Kasimpasa.

Hull City are delighted to announce Safiport as a new principal partner and back-of-shirt and academy sponsor.

Safiport’s branding will appear on the back of all three first-team kits and the front of all academy shirts from the Under-8 to Under-21 age groups for the 2024/25 season.

Their branding will also be visible at the MKM Stadium on home matchdays on the LED advertising boards and on interview backdrops for pre and post-match media commitments.

Founded in 1965, Safi Holding is a strong group of companies operating in various sectors such as shipping, port management, marine services, sugar factory and solid fuel.

Since 2015, Safiport has become one of the most powerful ports in the Marmara Region with ongoing investments and one of the most important for international maritime trade.

A Safi Holding group company, Safiport is one of the biggest sports sponsors in Türkiye and supports various sports teams at different branches.

Hull City Chairman Acun Ilıcalı said: “We are really grateful to Mustafa Hakan Safi and everyone at Safiport for their support and delighted to welcome them to our Hull City family.

“Teaming up with another high-profile Turkish partner demonstrates the continued and increasing growth of the club overseas and in my country.

“Safiport have shown their commitment by not only sponsoring the back of the shirts for the first team, but also the shirts for our academy and supporting the next generation of talent.

“We look forward to welcoming Mr Hakan Safi and Safi Holding team to the MKM Stadium to watch the Tigers!”

Hakan Safi, Chairman of Safi Holding, said: “Acun Ilıcalı has made Hull City more and more successful every day since he bought the team in 2022.

“We came together with Acun Ilıcalı and talked about what we can do together. I shared my idea of being a sponsor Hull City with him and our Hull City journey started.

“Safiport is an important brand for us, we are on our way to becoming an international port. We also want to take part in Acun Ilıcalı's story.

“Hull City will be in the Premier League as soon as possible and we, as Safiport, will take part in this success.”

Safiport replace McVitie’s as the club’s back-of-shirt sponsor after their principal partnership came to an end. The club would like to thank McVitie’s for their support throughout the partnership.

Wonder if we’ll see McVities return as the main sponsor when the Corendon deal ends

Strange that McVities is all over the new training wear still, would have thought it would have been blank if the deals ended. Can’t be much upside for these businesses, first Efes pulled out and now McVities.

Sad to hear that we have lost Murat Ulker's McVities sponsorship, having a billionaire backing Acun always added positivity and an air of reassurance.

Wasn't his sponsorship basically responsible for us signing Philogene?

I doubt he lost interest and was ever really interested, probably always the plan and essentially a favour to Acun.
