The inflation and exchange rate ****e you spurt is irrelevant and quite simply nonsensical. Sometimes you need to just chill out. You don’t always have to be so aggressive.
How's that being aggressive? You quoted Darren Eales and I asked where he stated this as I've watched it. Where does he say this? Where does he say "We had to sell 2 players to be compliant"? He says "To be compliant We were in a situation where there was certain trades we had to do" That's not saying "We we're in breach and had to raise £60m" FWIW I'd be classing Ashworth as a trade. I'd also hedge that with no CL this coming season 1 of those deals covers that money for this year's loss of it. That however is an opinion and certainly not something I'd claim to be a fact.

I'd say there's a possibility of them looking at long term planning. Make as much as possible so its in the bank for future seasons. If the opportunity was there for people making stupid deals than why not? The only factual evidence anyone has is how the club was ran from Saudi with every £1 and 1p accounted for on the Amazon documentary surrounding the Gordon deal. They clearly didn't give free reign to the club staff last summer or we would have signed a right winger. Elliot Anderson's fee was a stupid deal, as was Minteh's. Then again I've read on a Forrest forum that they reckon Anderson deal was only £15m. They also reckon we paid £12m for that keeper so how much of that is true or not who can tell? Nobody will know till the accounts come out and even then you can't really account for what was allowable expenses.
I don’t deny the two deals we made selling Anderson and Minteh were ludicrous in terms of value. But Eales literally stated in his interview that we had to do them deals to meet PSR. He even goes as far as saying that the rules are bonkers and that it encourages you to sell assets where players have low NBV. Honestly that’s what he says. That we didn’t want to sell them but we had to. So please don’t attack me and say abusive things towards me when all I am doing is reiterating what the man has said. There really isn’t any need for the amount o abuse some folks shout out at certain individuals. Its supposed to be a safe place for people to speak their mind.

Not once have you pointed out where Darren Eales said we needed to raise £68m and not once have you pointed out where he said we were "£60m in the red FACT" All I've tried to show you is there is a difference between what is your opinion and may or may not turn out to be the case and what is actually fact.
