Aside from the Championship season openers two 20.00 games on Friday 9th August at Preston and Blackburn, why are all the other fixtures on Saturday 10th, 12.30 kick offs, and at least three 12.30 kick offs every Saturday afterwards ? Is it all for TV coverage ?

And why are virtually all League 1 games kicking of at 17.30 on Saturday 10th ?

All League 2 games bar one on the Friday evening are kicking off at 15.00 to bring some sanity to proceedings !

Welcome to the future. We can watch more games on TV so all the “ I’m not buying a Season Ticket lot” won’t miss out.

The early kick-offs are a problem for me as they force me out of bed at 4:30 am for a 12:30 start time. Another major issue is that if they have been moved to facilitate TV coverage (the most likely) it will mean the match won't be on RobinsTV due to contractural issues. I am almost starting to think that instead of being able to watch all league games, other than those chosen for extra coverage on Sky, the number of matches available on Robins TV is starting to shrink almost to the point of my subscription to follow my team being less viable or cost effective. I have tried to contact BCFC to confirm the actual number of games covered by Robins TV but without success so far. The world of customer service and satisfaction has gone the way of the Dodo and yet they can find more than enough time to bombard you with crap and other needless rubbish. :headbang:

It looks as if up until Sept 29th I will lose 3 games that will be on Sky and the rest of the season I guess is up for grabs depending on who is doing well at any one time in the season's schedule. The cynical side of me says that the scenario is all well and good because if this upcoming season goes as well as the previous umpteen then outside coverage is not a concern. Another point I have noticed over many seasons is the the Sky Sports outfit seem to give us a wide berth when it comes down to providing watchable sporting entertainment. Did we pee them off at some point in the past or are we just a rubbish watch, like England???? :emoticon-0136-giggl
