Alasdair Gold says we were 5-0 up at half time in The Friendly That Never Was No word on who scored the goals Or was on or off the pitch when they were scored
Sounds like we won 7-1. Moore and an OG adding to the first half scorers. Gray played RB for a half, Donley - yes, that Jamie Donley - played LB. Jun’ai Byfield also got a run out, 16 year old CB. Bergvall, Gunter, Hall and Abbott also got game time. Solomon also got some minutes, so sounds like he’s finally fit to a degree which is good news.
Beware: the K-Pop stans will be watching our match against the K League All-stars...or at least some of it https://www.soompi.com/article/1674...e-show-of-k-league-vs-tottenham-hotspur-match
For those who can't be arsed to watch it and work out who everyone is: Postecoglou, Maddison, Bissouma, Son, Soonsup-Bell maybe?, Solomon, Emerson, Kulusevski, Austin, Skipp, Veliz, Porro, no idea, Scarlett, Bergvall, Spence, Whiteman, Gray, Hall, not sure on the left and Donley on the right, I think, Moore.
I think that's Yago Santiago between Porro and Scarlett Lankshere's the one with Donley Moore's the last one
Nah it was Luca Gunter who was with Donley, Lankshear walked on his own after we saw Son. Nice seeing Lankshear with the first team though, deserves it as much as anyone after last season.
I think it's a 4-3-3 with Skipp and Gray at centre-half and Donley at left-back. He supposedly played there the other day. Probably 11 changes at half-time. Wouldn't expect much more than a fairly relaxed workout.
I knew players would be missing and it wouldn’t be a strong team but glad I wasn’t able to go and watch it now. Typical pre season game only good for fitness I guess.
Good to see Solomon starting - especially to reassure us he does actually exist after scares he was a figment of our imagination. That defence should make for… well… an interesting game. Odd choice sticking Son up front though, he’ll probably score but it’s more a case that Veliz, Scarlett and Lankshear are all on the bench, you’d think there’d be more sense giving them the shares of the ST spot and sticking Son in his natural role.
