Just think we'll be able to replace him with Ryan Kent who I believe is on a free

I also follow Rangers. Kent was pretty good for a while, even if his scoring prowess was about as deadly as Rutter's, but he basically downed tools in his final contract year there- and then there was the Turkish debacle.
Based on this, he would be a perfect signing to replace Gnonto.

Fab Romano has got the story now so there's some legs in it. Looks like talks are underway between us and Everton.

Looking weaker already. Hope there are some plans for additions. Although I don’t mind Gnoto going, James wants to be here and puts effort in. Hope we replace Kamara and don’t think we’re sorted in the middle.

I'm just holding the criticism for now.

Imagine Kamara leaving for £8.5 million and then getting Skipp in for similar money. We'd be ecstatic.

Suppose at the back of our minds we’re all wondering why the hurry to get everyone out the door before any significant incomings

....and if I'm honest, I'm just starting to think that they need to get things sorted fairly sharpish.

My thinking is that both the 49ers and Red Bull haven't really bought anything to strip it of its assets. They both have a history of investment and growth both on and off the pitch. I can't see it being any different here......until they do it.

Probably fair play dates and crossover, I still think we’re waiting to see what we’re going to do with Wober and Kristensen.

Like Emu points out, Red Bull have zero interest in the money we’ll make from sales, they just want advertising and the better we do, the more eyes see the advert

Red Bull have no more experience if the English game than the 49ers have. I just hope this lot aren’t looking at the dollar signs and think we can replace the quality we’re selling easily. We’ve seen how difficult it is these days to attract quality managers and coaches. Just hope our gang of owners know what they’re at. Selling the good ones is easy

I think wober will join for the pre season camp. He probably wants out on a permanent and my view is i don't want the rat back.

The English game died a long time ago.

Not sure sulky Gnonto will be missed. I think he is hit and miss too often and his attitude towards officials will not change. 20 million is good enough so sell him while he still has value.

Except we wont get 20m. His last club due a decent percentage, agents fees etc. Important thing is we sign as good or better, otherwise team will be weakened. Same applies to Grays and Kamara replacements, they need to be an upgrade or at least as good. That's the gamble in all these sales. Every time we sell one, fans declare we're better off without them. You can't say that till you see what replaces them

Agree about Gnoto but still signed him for nothing we get a decent profit for someone who doesn’t want to be hear and moans a lot. Gray has already been replaced with Rothwell and I’d say that’s an upgrade (not long term but loads of experience, will play more in midfield and score goals).

If we get Skipp and Bogel with Rodon already here and Aaronson committed you compare that to our rivals and it can’t get much better

All If’s at the moment though

I’m sick to death of the Gnonto saga and want him gone but on our terms, let the little ****er sit in the reserves until our valuation is met.

That’s why they were quick to appoint some decent background staff with good experience in the transfer market in month 1

You don’t get to the level of wealth the 49ers and Redbull have by jumping into things blindly. They’ll be guided by a team, Paraag has already hinted that Orta had far too much freedom
