Another young kid (20-22 at the time) asked to fill in where needed yet slated by some whilst never really letting us down.
He was also a big part of a Millwall team who won their last 5, playing well in all of them and scoring the winner against Leicester.
He lost his confidence during Shota's time and it took him ages to regain it. It sounds like he only started playing well for Millwall with a few months left of the season. A confident Longman is a very good player at this level, we saw that in his loan spell. He's also useful as he can play both sides and even through the middle, you can even play him at wing back. Unless someone is going to offer seven figures, he's a good rotation option.
If my memory’s working (doubtful) he did well when he first came to us on loan but seemed to go off the boil after he got a contract. Coincidence maybe? I thought he showed promise.
Ryan Longman looking good when arriving on loan and playing for a permanent move? Who'd have thought it?
A current free 'very high profile' striker who is currently living in England is.....Wissam Ben Yeddar. Probably way too unrealistic but at 33, free and living in England, he could fit the 'very high profile' mould.
He is way too good for the Championship. We tried to get him on loan last Summer, if we pulled that out of the bag it would be serious business.
played over 500 games and has a ratio of a goal every 2 games. Would he not interest a Premier League club?
Just read his 'personal life' section on Wiki. I think we can quickly write that one off lol. I had no idea.
Brian Reynolds was linked but he has no championship experience, dremeh (spelt wrong) has the experience but not sure we’ve been linked with him before
