Generally gallows humour translates well for those who have experience of threatening situations, but not with those who haven't. It is an important part of incident resolution and the welfare of those involved in hot debriefs
That doesn't really apply to me although, to be fair I've been shot at twice and knifed once ... ... Mrs Smug has quite a temper on her Seriously neither shots were too close and the knife only left a bit of a scar. But I agree with your comment from my own limited experience. After a shift 'on the doors' after a gig all the lads would lock up and check for any stragglers in the loos, etc. We'd be done for about 2.30am and would do 3 or 4 nights a week. So you'd think we'd be straight home for bed but we'd almost always have a drink together. We'd totally take the piss out of each other and have a laugh about any nasty incidents. Looking back it was just a way of resetting for the next night and making sense of things.
Clearly I don’t like people shooting at politicians obviously and I think it’s counter productive because of the American hero mindset, but read back on comments Trump has made about far right victims and other politicians and it’s really tough to feel sorry for him.
It's quite an odd one. It brings me no satisfaction at all but I have very very mixed feelings about it nonetheless. Part of me simply says what the ****... You can't just go around shooting people you don't like. The other part of me wants to shrug my shoulders and say, better him than a ****ing high school.
It’s just a wrong road to go down, political violence, however this person defended a violent insurrection, mocked Pelosi after a hammer attack, avoided condemnation of the far right killing in Charlottesville and defends gun laws so as I said warmth for the man is hard to call on
No wonder I never understood that, I've been confused all these years ... ... I always thought everyone had the right to bare arms https://www.tiktok.com/@gabriella_v...31981104427?is_from_webapp=1&sender_device=pc
Nigel Farage was displaying his usual faux outrage on TV today ... "It's about time the media was made to tone down the hateful rhetoric that's causes this kind of reaction." Absolutely deranged to a Durham Mag level
