Whilst I won't hold my breath - being reported that Wilf Ndidi is about to sign a new 3 year deal (Romano) despite having had talks with / offers from 5 other clubs ...
Probably not but we got £35m for Elliot Anderson (who is a good prospect but hasn't done much really) and for a player who is getting regular gametime for Belgium then anything less than £40m would be a snip in todays market. Crazy times. ps. Everton are an interesting one at the moment. I thought when they sold Richarlison and Gordon they were in trouble. Then Iwobi, Mina, Maupay and Coady went and I thought they weren't even trying to avoid relegation any more. Given the points deductions they were (unfairly) given then Dyche did an astounding job for them and I've givenup trying to work them out. I feel like they could lose Onana, Calvert-Lewin and Branthwaite and he'd still get them to 15th - the guy is magic.
I wonder if he's allowed to spend some of it, because if they lose those 3, they really are gonna be short on numbers. They apparently want Gnonto from us, but that will cost them £25m+,
Everton are still being feasted on which is nice to see, but just how much money do they need to try and avoid PSR ****housery?
They've already brought a few in I think. A striker from France and the midfielder from Villa, though I think Ben Godfrey went already so you're probably correct. I can see them being stronger next year despite banking a chunk of money this summer, the only one I think they'd miss is Branthwaite but I also get the impression they don't have to sell him.
A lot, but I dunno. It's getting boring, they are being unfairly targetted imo. They're trying to compete at the top end of the game and they're being pushed down on by the establishment, that's all.
they would be selling even if the PSR rules didn't exist as their revenue is well short of the outgoings and Moshiri cannot afford to keep pumping money in . They would have been very close to administrayion without the ;loans from 777 to cover the weekly bills . These sales help them over summer when they jhave virtually no income .
bloke has talent. Was a Lampard signing, but Frank never realised what a big job he had on. expect him to do well at Villa in a side that’s stable and setup for his talent/skills
Arsenal nerds on YouTube (and then Twitter) for a year or so had been doing “welcome to Arsenal” comps over Onana. Unluckyyyy.
club have, sure Dyche has seen him in rehab over the last 12 months and thinks it’s a worthwhile gamble.
