I'm confident about the home leg. The only worry for me is our traditionally poor record after failing to get an away goal, but then again, we did beat Barca from the same position. Marseille, for me, don't possess much firepower. I know they were missing a couple of players tonight but they looked poor in terms of creativity in both matches against Chelsea and us tonight. I think that if we produce our OT form (which is a million miles removed from our away form) Marseille will have no answer.
I have a feeling it will be a edgy game with us taking the lead then them equalizing and us scoring the winner. We can win the game and go through and even their manager said that 0.0 is a good result for us. With our stadium and players returning we should play much better.
I hope it's for a while. Arsenal were running the ball into the corner flag against Stoke at 1 nil up tonight, at home. Without Fabregas, they will struggle in a big big way.
I dont really like to see players get injured tbf,van persie will be back for the cc final I think and he will be a boost for them even if cesc and theo are out for a month
I have maintained this opinion if we are still top after the Pool game we have a great chance. If we are 2 points behind Arsenal after the pool game we still have good chance. However, the games which are crucial include the cl return leg and fa cup game. In the CL we need to be careful we don't concede early on and we need to score more than 2 goals to make sure. We need to go out all guns blazing and play Rafeal Park and Nani.
