Well if England can somehow beat Spain we will deserve to be Champions First major tournament win for the men outside England. Not quite as historic as 1966 - after all that was the World Cup. But a great achievement nonetheless. Southgate will have brought it home. And if Spain have too much for us well that's no disgrace. As long as the lads play as well as they can.

Having been in one of the essential services I knew what I was signing up for and it didn’t bother me working Christmas, New year, birthdays etc etc it was always on a rota anyway which meant you wouldn’t Kop it every year

I'll be working on Monday. But I expect a lot of my colleagues will be absent. As you're aware I'm not really that interested in International football.
