Really not arsed about jaden leaving, its was obvious we were just a stepping stone and he wanted out plus we made a few quid.
Devastated Greavsie has gone though, speak to him and his dad regularly and he never forced a move but was always destined to play in the prem.
We have a massive rebuild on our hands now, so lets wait and see to Acun show his true colours.

Greaves didn’t have to force a move, he was always going to be sold as he was our most valuable asset.

It would have been interesting to see what he would have done if the club wanted to retain him and tried to block him leaving though.

 

Lad at my work is good friends with a player. Was watching the Switzerland game with them at Triton Inn. Said that Greaves wanted another crack but club was forcing it through.

 

Greaves was moving his stuff out his house ages ago. He knew he was gone, not forcing a move and not wanting to leave are 2 different things. He didn’t force it because he’s a good guy who respects what we’ve done for him, but he absolutely wanted to be playing premier league football this season

I knew Jacob would go this summer but I still feel quite sad about it

I know not everybody agrees but for me there is something special about a local lad
been developed by the club and he also seems like a really decent guy as well
