I feel the same about this one as I did with Bowen, he gave his all for us and behaved impeccably to the end, good luck to him.
I venture to suggest JG will on the one hand be in tears about moving, but lets all just wish him the best of luck. For a Hull lad to make it to the Premiership and be set for life is just fantastic and gives him the opportunity at some stage to return home, maybe/perhaps.
Lot of bed wetting about Jaden. However, Villa would never have let him go without the buy back or the sell on. They knew the talent they had on their hands.
Another ****ing bellend having a meltdown, 'Absolutely stunning incompetence' why not look at the positives, if we'd loaned him from Villa for the year (which in effect we did) and he went back nothing would be said other than he had a good season but is way out of our price range aka Delap, instead they paid us £8m to loan him for the year!
It’s a short career, he’s served us brilliantly, I’m convinced he’ll play for a bigger club than Ipswich in 12-18 months. I also think he’ll play for England, once the PL has witnessed his talents. I think the fee we got for him is appalling. But that’s down to the club, I’d have demanded more.
And then we’ll get more pure profit for the books taking the total fee upto something most would’ve said is fair by our standards
@GLP Villa have shuffled their ffp around, we’ve maybe had a player we wouldn’t ordinalrly have signed and we’ve made £8 million. So prob a good game for both parties, we’ll call it a score draw
Initial transfer fees totalling £37/38m with the potential to rise past £50m. Not the awful business it’s being made out to be
