If it is, the final was a draw and had to go to a replay. I had to just look up where the replay was held, and that was at Old Trafford. So next question is that Old Trafford?
Did a little search myself just to confirm I was right, this was a picture after your picture... You can see the same people up top with the medals tray... please log in to view this image
If memory serves correct, I do think it was actually pissing it down that day and the pitch was a mudbath....or was that the final at Wembley before the replay.
Top lad brb nice one. Can you sticky an auction thread on the chav board for me, bidding starts at £5 And of course a fee for the house. Ta mate
I was having a read of the 1970 Fa Cup Final on Wiki, this bit made me laugh... Modern-day referee David Elleray reviewed the match in 1997, and concluded that in the modern era, the sides would have received six red cards and twenty yellow cards between them, while fellow referee Michael Oliver thought 11 reds could have been given.
That's actually Rolf Harris in the picture... That's not his signature, he got interrupted drawing a mouse.
You got a nought missing off that mate. IF it's an authentic picture and signature, I'd start at £50 Some Chelsea collector nut will want it, especially if it's one of a kind.
I collect original press photos re spurs and have some great (and very famous ones). They are surprisingly cheap. But for some bizarre reason, genuine press photos of Peter Bonetti go for several hundred pounds.
