We might play a high pressing system, when you’re a championship club though you make sacrifices tactically for players that could score 20 goals.
Think the first couple months will be a grim watch. New coach and coaching staff and an almost entirely new squad to gel together. Every day there’s a new rumoured outgoing. McLoughlin is today’s. I hope to be proven wrong and we start the season strong but I can definitely see us at the bottom end of the table by October. I just can’t see us having a cohesive and settled squad by August 10th. It’s a massive ask of Walter.
I think Oscar will benefit more from an attacking team, he scored enough in a not so attacking team and i think he would do better i would like both him and moore they won't both be fit all season but if i had a choice i would take Oscar.
Mixed feelings on Moore. He has real pedigree and we've lacked someone who can attack crosses for a long time, but it does seem a strange match for Walter's supposedly high-pressing, modern style. Maybe Moore is more mobile and better at pressing than I'm thinking, he did play at Ipswich after all. As with the sacking of Rosenior and the Allsop situation it again gives a slight whiff of Acun listening to the clamour. I really hope it's a Walter target and not just the 'brain team' thinking he's got a good scoring record and nothing else matters. The quoted 3-year deal with him turning 32 next month sounds totally wrong too. I hope that's not true.
