    Time to get back to football after last night's shenanigans, been reported today that Corluka wants to leave Tottenham, to further his chances of playing for Croatia in the euro finals.


    Would you be happy if Newcastle went in for him?

    Imagine this back line:

    Corluka............Coloccini.............Taylor... ..........Santon

    Quality player. Versatile and pacy. Just the sort of player Pardew would be looking for.

    I would try to give reasoned debate, but seeing that has just caused me to be occupied for the next 30 seconds.

    Seriously though, I don't think moving to us will help him will it? Or is he not getting first team?

    Think I read hes only had 5 appearances this season, as Walker is ahead of him now!

    He's not gettin any games. Behind Walker at RB and King, Dawson, Bassong, Gallas are ahead of him at CB I think. (May be wrong) But he's only had something like 5 games.

    I remember he was Man City's player of the season a while ago and has always looked good at Spurs.

    I would like him here wether it be to displace Simpson or cover CB. Can do both of course.

    I think Redknapp said something this morning about some of his fringe players moving on for first team football so Corluka could be one of them. TBH I don't know that much about him, hasn't ever really stood out to me and I think he's about 30 so I'm not so sure. I think we could do better really.

    EDIT: He's only 25! That makes things a bit more interesting.

    I just realised he's 25 , thought he was much older , wouldn't be bad but still think there are better options.

    Would also like to see Santon given a chance.

    So he is good for RB and alo cover for CB. If it stops Perch getting on the field (despite his mighty 30 yard un vs Man U) then im all for it

    Would rather have Cissokho tbh :) Good player but I just feel that as he isn't French he would be **** for us.

    Yes,but Harry always puts stupid price tags on his players (which we won't pay) and he's probably on decent money at Spurs (which we wouldn't match).

    Quality player tho.
