Decent half from England for once. You’d like to think if we keep it up a second will fall our way, Foden especially looking lively and dangerous. Rice needs to snap into gear though, easily robbed for their goal and lost it to them later on too.

Concern for me though is that the Dutch have often improved massively as games have gone on so need to ensure that don’t happen.

He was no where near the middle when a cross finally came in.

Why isn't it? If 2 players go for a ball, one gets it but the other one is late and kicks the other player with his studs up it's a foul anywhere on the pitch.

Kane kicks the defender who has got his foot up trying to block it. Regardless VAR is supposed to be there for clear and obvious errors and everyone can agree that it wasn't one.

Bellingham is 21 and seems to have the entire nation of England expecting him to win the tournament on his own.
