If any member chooses not to be around because of the presence of one or more others, that's their choice. We can respect that. But I don't think it's fair for those members whose presence has led to that choice feeling guilty about it. As long as nobody has broken any forum rules, they are not responsible for the way their contribution is taken by others. To feel badly about someone else not posting is in my view to submit to a kind of emotional blackmail - even if that was unintended. Each of us is only responsible for what we post ourselves. We're not responsible for how others react to it.
