English forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin, 27, has turned down a new contract offer from Everton amid interest from Manchester United. (Teamtalk) They are most welcome to him
So after spunking almost £40m on Donny van de Beek, Manure have finally manged to offload him - for £500k. Great business.
Even Everton weren't dumb enough to buy him....and they paid £40m for Dele Alli, so they must be dumb.
Probably nothing but apparently people carriers were seen leaving the training ground this morning, a quick flight radar 24 check seems to have the times alligning with a private jet arriving from London, probably means sweet FA but maybe something.
Then it left for an Airport near Dortmund, seems football related but could just be a wealthy fan on their way to the match tonight.
Heard it's Staveley and Ghodoussi going to pick up Foden and Saka after we get dumped out tonight and take them to Benton
To be fair, they probably would have done just as well as Foden has so far at this tournament. Been a big let down I'd say, given his form for Man City. I know it's probably due to the formation and tactics Southgate has deployed, but Foden just hasn't looked like making any positive impact whatsoever.
Well, after he was afforded 4 minutes, came on and looked dangerous, he did some media pieces where he said he was looking forward to getting back on, running at people and hopefully scoring. That will have done it.
Aye. Southgate doesn’t want people to run at people. The tactic is obvious. Bore the pants off everyone. Till they succumb.
I am happy Amanda and her fella are stepping away, I think we need football people at the club, not a happy couple. They did great for this club but long term, we would have stagnated.
There will be a seriousness about this club moving forward and Howe will have to change the mentality else he’ll be gone.
