I'd like to think the Russians never intended to target the hospital, but I believe if reports are correct it was a Kh-101 cruise missile, and on a very quick google they have an accuracy range of within 7 metres. From google: Kh-101 missiles use a combined guidance system: it is basically an inertial system with optical and electronic correction, and a homing head is used in the final section. Unlike earlier generation missiles, the Kh-101 is hypothetically able to change the target while already in the air. According to test results, Russia claims that Kh-101 missiles are theoretically capable of destroying moving targets with a hit accuracy of up to 10 m. The nominal circular probable deviation of the missile is 7 m at a range of up to 5,500 km.
Ukraine normally follows these up with big attacks in Russian territory. I think we’ll see a response quite swiftly.
Hopefully. Getting boring now. Every knobhead with an axe to grind sharing obvious disinformation citing The Lancet. A Hamas commander has been killed in the West Bank. **** ‘em.
Honest first thought, fighting age men in civi clothing attracting attention. The men taping them to the sinage have yellow bands on their arms, probably identifying who they are. They have been known to switch colour from yellow to blue before due to Russians who tried infiltration, also the arm they are on ie left or right, helps with stages of identity when required, again to protect against Russian infiltration. I'm guessing the person putting the video up is just another one of the worlds loons that gives no context, so they can claim whatever todays agenda is on the menu, in this case trying to claim what bad people Ukranians are, pure propoganda...how do fall onto this stuff Sucky lol Trust no one.
This isn't being widely reported in mainstream media. I think the BBC might be the only ones running with the story as they are the reason he is in this condition. The man pictured here is Amin Abed. He is a resident of Gaza and a long-standing critic of Hamas and political activist for the Palestinians. Mr Abed was interviewed by the BBC last week and expressed a rarely publicised voice of dissent. His reward was to be attacked this morning by a group of masked Hamas security officials who broke all of his fingers with hammers and slashed his legs with machetes, so that he 'wouldn't be able to type more criticism and wouldn't be able to run to give more interviews'. Heroes like Mr Abed make Palestinian statehood more likely. Animals like Hamas make it less likely. Vive la révolution. https://al-ain.com/article/gaza-hamas-war-assault
There needs to be a Palestinian statehood regardless, but I agree Hamas aren't the ones who should be leading it, or certainly not in their current incarnation. Netanyahu needs to be removed from the equation too.
ICJ rules Israel settlement policy in occupied Palestinian territories in breach of international law Israel's settlement policy in occupied Palestinian territories is in breach of international law, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) has ruled. The "transfer by Israel of settlers to the West Bank and Jerusalem as well as Israel's maintenance of their presence" is "contrary to article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention", a panel of 15 judges from around the world said. The court said Israel must end the construction of settlements immediately - acts which render "Israel's presence in the occupied Palestinian territory unlawful". Israel's continued presence is "illegal" and should be ended as "rapidly as possible", the ICJ added.
Israel's President Benjamin Netanyahu reacted to the ruling, saying on X: "The Jewish people are not occupiers in their own land, including in our eternal capital Jerusalem nor in Judea and Samaria, our historical homeland. West calls out Putin as for occupying parts of Ukraine, and arms Netanyahu for occupying most of Palestine
The court said Israeli restrictions on Palestinians in the occupied territories constituted "systemic discrimination based on, inter alia, race, religion or ethnic origin". It also said Israel had illegally exploited the Palestinians' natural resources and violated their right to self-determination. The court also said Israel should evacuate all of its settlers from the West Bank and East Jerusalem and pay reparations to Palestinians for damages caused by the occupation. "Israel's continued presence in the Occupied Palestinian Territory is illegal." "The State of Israel is under the obligation to bring an end to its unlawful presence in the Occupied Palestinian Territory as rapidly as possible,"
