Not an easy one to explain, except in a past life. We've got a new and well thought of sporting director though, so fingers crossed things are about to change.
I'd rather keep Wilson than sign Delap, and tbh, probably any other striker we've been linked with. Wilson scores goals (95 apps/47 goals in the league), has the experience needed and is happy with his role - well not happy but he understands. Honestly wouldn't waste money on a 2nd choice striker this summer. RW, RCB and a GK would do for me. I'd take him or Madueke in a heartbeat, or both if we could shift Miggy and Murphy...
