The Lads will take on South Shields at the 1st Cloud Arena at 12.30pm before heading to the Gateshead International Stadium to face Rob Elliot’s side at 5pm. A week-long trip to Alicante follows, as the Black Cats travel to Costa Blanca on Monday 15th July, with two fixtures scheduled to take place. Potential line-ups: V. Have they changed the date again? I’m sure the first Spanish game is on Friday 19th not the Saturday 20th.
