After the first few minutes we controlled the first half but with no idea how to break Switzerland down. Second half we never really had that control again and the Swiss caused us real problems on occassion. We did stop them bossing it though.

Positives: Looked slighlty livlier, the team spirit looks good, defence somehow standing firm and the character of the team to take five really good penalties (without Kane) is strong. Good for Saka to exorcise some demons as well.

Negatives: Still fat too lacking in moving the ball with speed and with no idea how to break teams down. For all the control we want to have, all three goals in the last two games have come in periods where it's been more chaotic.

Him scoring goals at euros. Nunez scoring at copa. Be nice if they carry that on to next year.

Shame Jota didn’t get on instead of ronaldo or he might have bagged a few as well
 
Netherlands are a great draw for us. Real known quantities and while their fans will dominate the game they won't be as mad as the turks.

The other Dutch forwards are bang average.

Vvd is shot imo. He won't engage and that's why he's getting beaten and caught behind the line.

We can get to the final just **** housing this.

It'll be as undeserved as Italy reaching the final in 2021.

But hey. It's then down to Spain to break the line and score.

Maybe these players will finally stop being so afraid as being in the semis means they have reached the point where they can't be called "failures"

There is guaranteed to be at least one correct prediction in the semis though as England face Netherlands and both predicted to be eliminated.

@SIR_KENNY_KLOPP_KING takes the lead in the points with 15, but it isnt enough. Either @Germlands Nozzer or @Engliababy are guaranteed to add 16 pts to their score next round for correct prediction of Semi Final exit for their team.

Georgia, Netherlands, Germany, and Slovakia all tied with having a player on 3 goals... So the owners of all four of those teams look to get an additional 5 point bonus for each of their teams unless someone makes it up to 4 goals. As it currently stands Roger, and Mito would get 5 bonus pts and Nozzer would get 10 bonus pts. Unlikely to stay like this though.

Gakpo is the only one of the current leaders who can add to their tally. Bellingham and Kane have both got two for England (and Saka on one), France have got Mbappe on one, not sure about Spain?
