@Saintmagic called it. Its coming home. But in the fashion of a 15 year old after 3 liters of cider, vomiting and stumbling the entire way.
Obviously not fit, and rusty having not played since early Feb, but thought Shaw did well. Konsa played well until he went off, and Mainoo was excellent until he went off. Not a lot else to shout home about beyond the quality penalties. Edit: oh and Saka too, one of our few dangerous attackers, scored a brilliant goal, and special mention for stepping up again to take a penalty and scoring it after the last one he took.
As bad as we were. Switzerland were equal to it. I think we might just be able to suck the life out of any opposition put in front of us.
Look, Southgate should have made subs sooner. Waiting until Switzerland scored after 75 minutes was criminal. Swiss were on top well before they scored. However, I thought the performance was pretty decent today. Switzerland have been excellent all tournament and it was always going to be a tight, cagey game. Cracking response to going a goal down as well.
Five out of five pens scored? Well **** me sideways and call me Bukayo. Taken me longer than usual this year but it's ****ing coming home chaps
Is Ivan Toney still a betting cheat, who shouldn’t be in the squad.? Just asking for a hypocrite I know.
He's served his ban. And he's not a betting cheat. He's got a gambling addiction which he got help for.
