Best wishes to the lad. I know he wasn't the best ever player but no one can deny he always gave 100% Good luck gorilla x
Cause of my one and only Twitter ban, when I called him Gorilla and the AI thought I was being racist.
Really like our transfer business so far. Needed to strengthen all over the pitch but within FFP rules so a lot of clever work had to be done. Bringing in 2 exciting young CB’s who fit RM’s methods for basically the money we’ve received for Perraud and Lyanco. Add to that the permanent signing of THB I think our CB work is done. Add to that the experienced duo of Lallana and Taylor again for nothing. So basically spent £20 million net so far but signed 5 players. We will still get in money with the sales of KWP, ABK, Tall Paul, Caleta Car, possibly Alcaraz and Sulemana. Think the squad strengthening has to be done first before you bring in the game changers with the serious money.
West Ham signing Max Kilman for £40m from Wolves, could mean they might look to cash in on someone to bring some cash in
Probably. This will put their net spend at £40 million and they are in for the likes of walker peters plus need an attacking midfield and striker. They have no European Football this season so will definitely need to sell.
Think they’ll also be in again for Mctominay as Utd want to shift as need to generate transfer funds. If that happens I think Downes will definitely sign for us. May drag on a bit but is probably the one signing where you don’t mind waiting as he knows the system etc?
I thought Aguerd was supposed to be really good but got injured early on? Must have had a prolonged impact I guess
Was touted at the time to be a good signing. Sadly for West ham, they are finding it difficult to shift those high earners.
@DiMarzio: The @SouthamptonFC has already had the medical examinations carried out by #Welington of the @SaoPauloFC. But the @TorinoFC_1906 still hopes to prevail
Agree, it’s a really positive start to get this amount of players in before pre season seriously starts and props to the club for having plans in place. The signings so far do feel like they could have been possible still in the Championship, but taking nothing away. Still a long way to go to be a team that can survive imo, but I was hoping for the new signings to hit double figures and it’s on course for that.
The chatter online about this Welington is not positive. Scouting websites and people connected to Brazilian football suggest he is no way near up to it. Seems more and more like a potential signing for the SR club network. Which would seem an odd thing to do
