I get that, he’s just a very dynamic midfielder and clearly tidy in possession so think Walter will develop him quickly

Trust me, even though clubs don't always announce figures, everyone in the game from agents to other clubs, know the value

Just read, assuming Philogene goes which seems near certain, we have 'lost' 63 of last seasons 68 goals!! An astounding fact? What a state.

Hope it’s a wake up call for the “brain team” that you can’t spend the way we have and not pay for it in the future.

    Don't worry.
Pandur will spend most of the game on the edge of their box so he'll pick a few goals up I'd think.

I know it's not the point you're making but I still wonder whether Pandur will even be number 1. Wouldn't be surprised if Walter wants to bring in a specialist goalie who can play his style, and if not I also wouldn't be enormously surprised if Ingram is his number 1.

If the Doncaster game is anything to go by I dont think Ingram has it in his locker to play out from the back with great efficiency

Just when I'd put the Doncaster 'performance' out of my tiny mind ... :emoticon-0125-mmm:

He certainly wasn't trusted to do it by Rosenior, but neither was Pandur. I don't think the Doncaster game was Ingram's fault though. We didn't at the time know how to deal with the way they marked us after they adjusted it about 15 minutes into the game and Ingram was the guy left on the ball looking daft. Strange thing is by the end of the season loads of teams were marking that way including us, the man-for-man marking really took off during last season.

Bristol City away, Norwich first game of the season. There's a small handful that highlights it. And last season too

A good reminder actually, as a counter to the person who said obligation loans are counted as purchases. Arsenal had him as an obligation loan to delay FFP impact.

    That explains that then.

I've still never understood the deal we did for Nathan Baxter. It was going to be a permanent deal the second time, but according to Tan, Chelsea wanted to structure it as a season-long loan followed by a permanent deal the following summer. Apparently it suited Chelsea better that way but I don't understand how. Anyway as we know, Rosenior took over in the meantime, Baxter had injuries and we ended up changing our mind on him.

Not sure what the benefit was for Brentford with the Arsenal deal. Perhaps they offered a higher fee to compensate the delay?

Didn't he kick up a fuss about leaving? Can't remember there being other suitors either

Looks like a striker is going to be the next through the door, Acun said on Sky Sports that it's "somebody which we love very much and we are very happy with him."

My guesses would be Celar or Glatzel.

He's signing for FC Utrecht after they missed out on Sam Lammers. Only costing €1.5m too, good deal that.

I would be holding out for £40-50m.

It's Acun. Everyone is amazing and our first choice and someone we've pursued for a long time.

Going by Acun's comments last year no matter how much we rake in he won't be buying the stadium. He stated we'd only be spending big for strikers, and it made sense to him to spend money on buying players not the stadium. :emoticon-0125-mmm:
