You'd assume so, but it's all about attitude. They wouldn't be the first side to narrowly lose their top flight place and end up mid table. How many of these lads are up for 46 games in the Championship after playing the likes of Man City. Chelsea & Liverpool?
Teams will set up differently against luton now, they wont be the underdogs like theyve been for yrs Can really change how the team plays Still got some cracking championship players and the 2 lads up front are a right handful
This is the key. They've spent at least a couple of seasons playing hard-to-beat, it worked and got them out of the Championship and did them well in the Premiership despite relegation, you'd have to assume due to expectations that they'll try and play on the front foot now.
The anticlimax must be enormous ... ... like going back to an old girlfriend when the 'punching above your weight,' stunner dumps you
I think Maidenhead are set to make a lot of money from that. Wouldn't be surprised if they are a EFL team in the next few years because of it.
Dan Neil will not be signing a new contract this summer from someone very reliable otr who has got everything spot on about him in the past
