Seem to be making a fair few youth signings, saw the lads from Blackburn and Portsmouth signed and thought there was another one or two from the UK (maybe an Everton youth?) along with the the 19y/o cb/cdm from Serbia who looks like he's set to complete his deal shortly.

Be interesting to see in the long run if these kids are being bought to develop and play or develop and sell. Mentioned Alfie Harrison earlier but if he does well and can be sold or £20+m next summer....

Think it’ll be a mixture of both. Some we’ll keep and some we’ll sell. Look at Man City and Palmer!

Man city have a 40% sell on clause with Harrison, so he'd probably be one worth keeping rather than selling if he proves or becomes first team capable.

I guess it's a good long term plan to get these kids in and see if you can shift them later for decent profit. Minteh, as much as I'd have like to see him at SJP you can't turn down £25m+ profit in a year - that's like £100m amortized minus any outstanding payments for him. If we could do that with a few we will be laughing.

Even if you got £20m for Harrison in a year or two that'd still be worth £50m in that financial years budget to spend if my maths is right.
