For me starmer makes them completely unlikable, he's terrible, has absolutely no charisma, can't debate for toffee, will be absolutely hopeless at negotiating with other leaders, can't stick to anything he ever says and the one that really gets me...."we won't raise taxes for working people" which is just a huge lie.

Alternatively I believe that gives me the right to complain about all of them.

Not allowing 16yo’s to vote in the Brexit referendum was bordering on criminal imo.

It´s the same with both parties.

Either way, will you vote for the system´s millionaire ex-lawyer or the system´s millionaire ex-banker? Either way, economy growth will be based on population increase and relative depressed wages and millionaires will become billionaires.

If you look at all the major issues that are in the headlines at the moment, few if any were actually voted for.

Who gives a **** if he´s likable or has charisma or can do a lively debate. He should run a country, not present a game show or front a rock band. Switzerland seems to be able to be run perfectly well without the general public in the rest of the world knowing who their politicians are. Perhaps better off if politicians are faceless civil servants who perform duties/orders voted for by the population, using banking apps as identification - no criminals or former criminals or unidentified ppl allowed to vote.

If voting made any difference they wouldn't let us do it.

Their banking system and its clients gives them a wee bit of leverage.

One thing I have learnt in a life away from football and NOT606 is that it is the unelected civil servants that run the country and they don't change whichever colour you vote for.

Yup. Them and pressure groups/lobbyists. That's what I was referring to above, when I suggested people look at the key issues in the media, and consider how many of them were voted on in reality.

Well, he won’t. Unfortunately his definition of working people means he can tax the **** out of most people on here who will be surprised they don’t meet his criteria of a working person.

The manifestos aiming to tax the rich more will fall short of their expected targets, as the rich are already upping sticks in record numbers. Taxing them further will simply take money out of the economy.

That's pretty much a documentary....it's incredible how much they show, and the penny still doesn't seem to drop. People just keep on blaming politicians.

Are you one of those who said the Brexit vote didn’t go the correct way as people didn’t understand the complexities? (Rather condescending of Remainers who would not have said that if the vote had gone their way.) Yet 16 year olds are sophisticated and aware enough? Maybe they should be able to drive, drink and smoke?

More millionaires, 9,500, left this country last year than any other country except China. Some numpty said good riddance. Where do these clowns think the taxes are going to come from? Haven’t they seen the huge percentage of tax paid by the higher earners?
