Don't like that they are allowing players to stop mid-runup on penalties again. Seen it a few times in this tournament. It's hard enough for a keeper as it is
Not sure how true it is but i read a few years ago that it was one of his dreams to be the first player to play in 6 international tournaments and score in all of them (this is his 6th)
There's been a lengthy discussion on here about **** football (aimed at England) and you want to watch that Slovenia side that parked the bus against England and then against Portugal doing the same against France? My view on England is clear and for the same reasons I don't want teams only capable of playing negative football stinking up a tournament which should be throwing up the best teams/games. France vs Portugal will be a damned sight better than Slovenia no matter how much Mowbray and Keown tried to convince us otherwise.
I quite like that too, but from teams like Austria (or Switzerland if they weren't playing us) as they play some very good footy.
When did that rule get dropped? I remember it annoyed me in the Poland/ France match where Lewandowski did it twice but the France goalkeeper got penalised for moving off his line. Not sure why they try and give so many advantages to the penalty taker.
Yeah that one really annoyed me. Id be more than happy if rule was as soon as you begin your run up the keeper can do whatever they want. Would put a stop to these stupid stop start run ups.
