Great drama of course at the end, but I'm fuming with Max's dirty defending tactics and ultimately it caused Lando to DNF. Max got away with a 10 second penalty which cost him nothing, and he picked up 10 points

 

Hopefully Lando takes out Max at Copse like Lewis did.

 

First set to Raducanu. A bit inconsistent then wins the tie break 7-0.

 

A couple of firsts in the Tour de France today. Biniam Girmay became the first Eritrean and the first black African ever to win a stage of the Tour, while Richard Carapaz became the first Ecuadorean to wear le maillot jaune.

 

It was a shame the crash towards the finish hindered Cavendish from going for stage win 35, hopefully he'll get another chance although I suspect he will struggle against Philipsen!
Still at least no one was badly hurt and it's nice to see Girmay win

 

Yes, a pity that Cav was hindered by the same crash that spoilt Philipsen’s chances, but that’s stage racing I suppose. I loved Cav’s enthusiasm when he heard of Girmay’s win, such a lovely bloke.

 

Great achievement by Cavendish in the tour. Not bad for an old fella

I am so pleased for him , and yet I’m not sure I wanted that record to be broken , because Eddie Merckx seems like a decent bloke .

 

I know what you mean, but I love Mark Cavendish and I’m so pleased for him.

Raducanu has pulled out of the mixed doubles……so Andy Murray’s Wimbledon career is now over.

 

Well he hasn't officially retired yet so you never know.
